The products come in beautiful aluminium tins and silver coloured packaging printed with retro images of pin-up girls sporting outfits best described as ‘not for the faint hearted’. The design reflects Glamourflage’s philosophy that each product should look as good as it makes you feel. The range is created to exude glamour and impart confidence and style.

Products

Each product is named after its own guardian angel (Lotus Lily Lip Balm, Mia Sublime Face Mask and Scarlett Divine Bath Dust to name just a few) and comes with an excerpt from her life. These brief character stories are tongue in cheek, spark the imagination and capture the unique allure of the Glamourflage range.

Underpinned by a bevy of natural nourishing ingredients, these high quality products bring a new meaning to the word ‘pamper’. Vera Vamp Body Cream is laced with shea butter and witch hazel extract (renowned for its toning properties). It would take too long to list the merits of all the products but suffice to say that most include aloe vera extract and vitamin E antioxidant with skin regenerative properties. Top this off with fragrances of freesia, frangipani and tangerine –va-va-voom guaranteed! Prices range from an affordable $7.95 to $29.95.

Glamourflage is the brainchild of an entrepreneur seeking a change from the corporate grind – Imogen Day was tired of the corporate grind and thinking of doing something completely different. She had previously worked in some very large and male-dominated/oriented business so, whilst the first priority was developing a business that could offer her the flexibility they needed to achieve a balance between work time and play time, the second was definitely to do something very ‘girly’.

Imogen comments “When creating the range I wanted our products to appeal to all the senses – the sense of smell, touch, vision and also the oft forgotten sense of humour. Your bathroom is part of your personal boudoir – I think of these products as ‘life-style objects’ as much as they are beauty products”. This makes the Glamourflage range perfect for gifts as well as that spot of self-indulgence.
