Created by Petrova Hammond, LADY is a label that has evolved into a coveted and intrinsic part of the Melbourne fashion market.
As described by Kristy Hinze, Petrova’s designs are “Beautiful, bright & breathtaking, a very distinctive style that makes you stand out from the crowd.”

Her clothes provide that bit of luxury that every girl craves. With their distinctive mixture of the ethereal and fashion forward edginess, they are beautiful to look at, and easy to wear.

Targeting an audience who love life and dressing up, LADY is stocked throughout in selected boutiques throughout Australia and in their own
flagship store in Flinders Lane Melbourne.

The LADY label is designed and produced in Melbourne, with only small quantities of each design made, so as to ensure originality for each customer.

After appearing on the first series of Australian Project Runway and gaining a place in the final three, the LADY label has gained worldwide
interest and has opened its first online store to keep up with the demand.

The A/W09 Collection is “She Walks with Beauty” and draws inspiration from classic Fairy tales, the themes of good & evil, and the Lord Byron poem
"She Walks in Beauty." The collection incorporates styles reminiscent of childhood and a dark colour palette with highlights in red, purple & gold.

Garments are produced in the highest quality silks velvets, silk satin,
cottons and stunning vintage prints.

Many of the pieces are reversible or can be worn in multiple ways
allowing the wearer to inject their own personal style into an outfit.
