Other Information

Totally Decadent: LARRISA JONES

When I decided to study makeup artistry, already having the skills I needed, I wanted to certify myself in the art. I really enjoyed the content of my course. The theory and practical was a lot of fun, I was given the chance to mix my former skills with new ones learned. I came out far more confident and ready to move on.

Tafe

After completing my makeup course I gained a lot of clients doing weddings. It was fantastic because I enjoyed contributing to make the girls look beautiful on their special day. There is nothing like seeing that joy in their eye when they see how gorgeous they look, hair, makeup and their dress coming together as one. All of which gives me a sense of satisfaction, as that's what is all about making my clients happy.

Media Makeup Academy

I wanted to do further training. I decided to direct my skills towards television and photography. The industry appealed to me as it was varied in its application, and I enjoy the challenge. Just starting out I brought my sister in and gave her a makeover ready for a photo shoot in black & white. She was transformed, she looked totally gorgeous, one of my fondest memories.

Bobbi Brown

We had a week's promo. One of Sydney's renowned makeup artists was involved. I was so excited to meet and learn from her. She was fantastic, so supportive towards me. I would watch her magically incorporate her skills with mine. I learnt so much from her in that week. Sales went through the roof, exceeding our predictions; it was a great experience being involved.
