Gold Coast fashion designer Bec Cooper is daring consumers to ‘fall in love’ with her as she prepares for the launch of her latest collection under the “Mr Julius by Bec Cooper” label.
“After years working for established surf labels Cult Industries, Billabong and Element Skateboards I’m really excited to have my own label ready for distribution,” Ms Cooper said.
“I started the Mr Julius label because I love to design and even more seeing girls wearing my designs.
It makes me feel amazing to know that what I have created someone else loved that much they just had to buy it,” she said.
The latest Mr Julius collection (second for the label) adopts four themes to inspire the “it girl” in every woman. Australian manufactured, featuring Italian fabrics the range of over 12 garments incorporates original (sublimated) designs and bold colour.
“I had a huge response from my first range for Summer 2006. The feedback I received was the girls were buying them because of the prints - they were different than the other bikinis in stores,” she said.
Ms Cooper’s Mr Julius Swimwear already available in select boutiques in South-East Queensland and Sydney has been well received by stockists.
“The stores I already stock in now, are excited to see my latest range, “ Ms Cooper said.
The Mr Julius Swimwear collection is available for showings upon appointment.
